Originating from the UK, Liam graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2010. He had exhibitions in numerous countries, won awards, was published in magazines and newspapers, and from 2013 - 2019  Liam dedicated his life to travelling around the world. He covered over 30,000 km's through Europe, Asia and Africa on various, small motorcycles, taking photographs and gathering inspiration. This found him residing in Thessaloniki, Greece, where he now works and lives with a family.

In 2011 Liam held painting workshops at the Haworth Art Gallery.
Liam was also the judge for the Haworth Art Galleries 'Annual Open Exhibition 2011.'

In 2007, Liam worked for Andy Goldsworthy, on his piece 'The Clay Room', for his exhibition at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
